Kheema balls( meat balls)

Year before last year I was living in Burkina faso. Since meat was very cheap and easily available there,it used to be on the menu almost everyday all three times a day( I can say four times as I used to cook evening snacks with meat like kheema samosa, kheema cutlet, kheema wraps, kheema parota etc. But, Kheema balls had its own high price on the list. Kheema balls were sometimes deep fried in oil, sometimes dropped in the kheema koftha curry, sometimes was just served with any other meal(noodles, pasta, chappathi etc). This recipe is simple, easy and quick

Ingredients:

Minced meat 500grams
onions - 1 large
green chillies -4nos
fresh chopped coriander - 1/2 cup
ginger-garlic paste - 2 tbsp
red chilli powder - 2 tsp( heaped)
garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
salt as per taste

Method:
Finely chop onions, green chillies, fresh coriander and add them all to the minced meat. Now add ginger-garlic paste, red chilli powder, garam masala powder and salt and mix well and knead the meat mixture. Now make small balls and steam them in a idli cooker or steamer for 6-7 min on medium flame. Now, we can deep fry it in hot oi land serve.

Note: After steaming, the kheema balls are ready to be added into kheema koftha curry also.
